Welcome to the 2nd Annual TGC Golf Tournament for Scholarship! We are honored to have you join us for a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to making a difference. This tournament is more than just a sporting event—it is a meaningful opportunity to invest in the future of the families who make up the heart of Tokyo Gardens Company.

Proceeds from today’s tournament go directly toward scholarships for the children of our dedicated operators who are pursuing higher education, whether at the undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral level. These students represent the next generation of leaders, innovators, and professionals, and your participation helps ease the financial challenges of their academic journey while encouraging them to reach their full potential.

Two years ago, at our inaugural tournament, our community came together in a remarkable show of generosity. With the support of 15 vendors and 167 H-E-B Sushiya operators, we raised an incredible $60,000, which allowed us to award scholarships to 13 deserving students. That day, 44 players enjoyed a spirited round of golf while helping to create life-changing opportunities for these young scholars. The impact of those scholarships has been felt not only by the recipients themselves, but also by their families and the communities they serve.

In addition to supporting our operators’ children, TGC is proud to give back to the wider community through contributions to the Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston, the Korean American Scholarship Foundation, and the Korean Special Olympics. These partnerships reflect our deep commitment to education, cultural enrichment, and opportunities for all.
